Sood is an Italian pop-up restaurant concept started in Hackney, East-London. Sood was founded in 2016 by Carlo, ex-legal consultant in the City in London and Michele, ex-senior chef at Chiltern Firehouse, London.
Sood very first pop-up was in in Broadway Market (best seller the octopus ragu' & stracciatella ciabatta). Then became traders at the Well Street Market and launched their regular supper club in Hackney with funky vibes, Italian modern cuisine, wines and cocktails. During winter 2017/18 Sood joined Nuno Mendes' project 'The Kitchens' in Old Spitalfields Market before teaming-up with Bottles, wine bar in Old Spitalfields Market serving great wines only from small producers.
Our vision is to bring our heritage and traditions into every single dish we make. Attention to details, hard work, knowledge and passion for what we do is our goal, every day.
We respect all ingredients and combine different flavours using both traditional and modern cooking techniques, giving our own interpretation and a contemporary touch to our dishes.
